And so begins the first of many battles. Who will lay claim to the day, APRIL 24th. Uncontested for many years, Mark is facing some stiff competition. The seasoned veteran and old fan favorite might have a tough time hanging on to his 35–0 title. Max, the new kid on the block, comes in at a modest 25 lbs. with an arm reach of 11 in. But don’t let his physical limitations and lack of experience fool you. As his ever-growing fan base will tell you, he just has that special something. And they might just be able to carry him to a victory. Whatever the outcome, it should make for a good time. Please join us for lunch and a low-key celebration in honor of Mark and Max’s birthday.
7.5 months old, sitting up, hanging out and happy! If you look closely you can see how Max's finger and thumb seem to be merged as one. He hasn't quite figured out how to use them independently. But, he does enjoy spending lots of time watching his hands, moving them around and trying to figure it out.
Max hit the 4 month mark and boy do those fingers taste good. If his fingers aren't in his mouth, they're hanging on to his feet while he puckers his mouth and blows bubbles.
Max can now spend hours playing and laughing at himself in a mirror. He flails his arms and legs with great force and squeals with delight. It is definitely helping mom out that he doesn't need to be carried around all of the time!
